Super Sundowners Saturday!

WOW! WOW! WOW! What an amazing day!

The picture perfect day made for building community and you, our supporters, contributed to raising up the community of Richmond with your generous donations. We are so grateful that we were able to celebrate our successes with so many of you in person.

Many thanks to everyone who attended, made our event possible and supported our endeavors! We were thrilled to collect a handful of gently used bikes and an entire travel bag filled with brand new and gently used helmets!

As you can see, fun was had by all! From the stellar music, to corn hole, to the hayrides and the hiking and biking trails, there was just shear enjoyment by all in attendance.

Special thanks to Jim Willard for treating us to Bruster's Ice Cream. Also to everyone who brought a dish to share with their culinary talents ablaze with great flavors and delectable sweets. Special thanks to Jean Louis-Lepage who wows us every year with BBQ, Curry Meatballs and so much more!

Gratitude to the beer purveyors, Monocacy Brewing CompanyBrewer’s Alley, and Greg Brown for all their support this year and over the years. Shout out to Rockwell Brewery for their beer contributions as well.

A BIG shout out to Bill Ellison for coordinating his band–Next Exit–who kept our toes tapping and our lips syncing. We appreciate their great vibes and the time and efforts they took to entertain us.

Many thanks to Markoff's Haunted Forest for providing free admission tickets and super special thanks to Alex Markoff for bringing a fleet of bikes from Calleva so attendees could try out the newly built trails.

We are immensely grateful to William Price for donating his beautifully turned bowls for our auction and serving as our live auctioneer–for our first time endeavor!

We cannot forget to note the colorful, creative rainbarrell designed and inspired by our artist, Carly Lederer, whose muse is our multi-year project to bring bikes to the Karoo region of South Africa.

We were thrilled to see so many smiling faces at the farm and to raise nearly $25,000 towards our goal. We are excited to close the gap and reach our funding target of $35,000 for our 2024 campaign. If we can hit it by the end of this month, it will give us a head start to our fundraising campaign for 2025 which is ALL about BIKES! And of course a major water/sewer issue the community is enduring.

The donations you made will certainly be felt for years to come by the children and families we serve in Richmond and the greater Karoo region.

If you weren't able to attend or haven't had time to make a contribution, there is still time to support this year's fundraising event!
