New E-Learning Center Hosts a Computer Skills Training Program

A sister NGO, known as the Karoo Development Centre, approached Grassroot Hope in South Africa (GHISA) to assist with running a three day basic computer skills training program for two groups of 10 individuals.

This image was taken on day two of the training and already the participants were creating documents in Word and sending emails to all and sundry!

The demand for this type of computer upskilling is huge and covers all ages. Unfortunately our schools are under resourced and do not have computers for this type of training.

Thanks to all of our donors and the efforts accomplished 2021 to rebuild and outfit our E-Learning Center! We are now able to fill this vital gap and give the youth of Richmond the opportunity to be better equipped to become meaningful contributors to our communities here in Richmond. We thank all of you!!
